Mother’s Day is just around the corner and any one of these cards would make the perfect card for the friends or daughters in your life who are a mother. These cards are also beautiful for any other occasion you can think of. You’ll use new dies, stamps and 3D embossing folders in this class. You’ll learn a few new techniques as well!

What a cute little House Book! A variety of ArtFoamies and art products are used to create this accordian book. Accordian books have become very popular in the mixed media art community. This one is a little larger than many and you’ll enjoy creating it and displaying it. Once you have created one, you can create many. They’ll be fun to display on a rotating basis. This class will take a little longer than most and the kit will be very complete.

Penny Black creates wonderful “brush” work stamps that lend themselves to very cool watercolor techniques. Your stamp art will appear to have been watercolored from “scratch” as if it were original artwork! This is a very fun. One technique uses an ink pad and the other uses Dina Wakley’s Scribble Sticks to also give this effect. You’ll really enjoy learning these 2 techniques for making your watercolor work look original!

Join us for one of our most popular classes for art fans. This class is a bargain and you get to play with all the colors of any of the supplies we used in our sample spread. It’s a sort of try it before you buy it coupled with art play. We guide you through the process we used to create our sample and you get to create your own version of the sample using your own colors and composition. Join us for the fun of creating without limits! Our sample was not ready at the time of the schedule publication and will be posted as soon as it is available

One of the newest Tim Holtz stamp sets is “Forgotten Garden”. It is a set of wildflower stamps created with a beautiful airy artwork style. Lisa has used this set to create a beautify group of greeting cards you can use for many occasions. You’ll use a variety of inks, pens and pencils in the creation of these cards.

CLASS FEES:

Class fees are due at the time of enrollment. Lisa takes cash, checks and sends PayPal invoices. If you are in the store when she is here, she can take credit cards. Payment of class fees guarantees your enrollment in class. “Reservations” are not guaranteed until class fees are paid. If class reaches capacity, “reservations” will be placed on the wait list immediately and can only be added back if there is a cancellation.

CLASS KIT:

You are required to bring a kit of basic paper crafting supplies. Your kit should include (but is not limited to) such things as a black ink pad, embossing ink pad, your favorite paper glue, favorite adhesive (tape runner or double sided tape), scissors, sponges or daubers for edging, pencil and bone folder. Please feel free to add any other suppies you feel you need for paper crafter. All products needed for your basic kit can be purchased at the store.
